EDMOND THOMAS “E.T.” WHITE
Edmond Thomas White , 86, beloved son of the late Mannie Lee White and Sylvia Raiford White was born in Elbert County Georgia on July 21, 1929. He entered into rest on Friday, January 29, 2016 in Detroit, MI.
E.T. joined Springfield Baptist Church at an early age and he was a graduate of Blackwell Memorial High School. He moved to Detroit and worked for Chrysler as a paint technician for thirty years until his
retirement.
Blessed with an abundance of personality, he made people around him feel happy and jovial. He enjoyed traveling and having a good time. E.T. loved dressing sharp from head -to-toe and being around his friends and family. He was once married to Idalia Dubose White and they remained good friends throughout their golden years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Clayton White, Sr. and Charles White; two sisters: Eunice White and Queenie White; one sister in- law: Jeanie White; and one nephew: Clayton White, Jr.
Those who will cherish his memories are: his two loving children: Pamela White, Detroit, MI; Terry White, Atlanta, GA and their mother, Idalia Dubose White; two grandchildren: Ayoola White and Sala White; one sister: Sandra (James) Lewis, Fayetteville, GA; one sister in - law: Sandra White, Kenosha, WI; one aunt: Minnie (Richard) Booker, Chicago, IL; devoted friend and care giver Victor Harris; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
