Our Goal: 5% reduction in proportion of students scoring FBB and 5% reduction in BB in each content area on the CST annually. Additionally, 5% increase in proportion of students scoring P or A in each content area on the CST.
2009-2010 Achievements Future Projects/Next Steps PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
◦ Facilitated professional development for departments in direct instruction, lesson study, peer observation, and cooperative groups
◦ Focused workshop topics SDAIE, direct instruction, Understanding by Design, and Cornell Notes.
◦ All professional development fell under the umbrella of rigor. Both rigor and accountable talk were introduced large group and emphasized in department meetings.
◦ CST gallery walk - Teachers shared strategies and best practices for increasing student achievement.
INTERVENTION◦ FLEX
Restructured calendar to allow for more frequent department meetings.
Assisted departments in implementing FLEX
◦ RESPONSE TO INSTRUCTION & INTERVENTION (RTI2) From the Achievement & Accountability
team, a RTI2 team was formed, and began to research programs and designs to support our students.

Achieve, Periodic Assessment Certificates, CST ice cream social,
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT◦ Summer PD: follow up with the goals and
the work from this time through both whole school and department venues
