Mr. Tushar K Jani, President - ACFI and Mr. KS Kunwar, Director General – ACFI was attended the meeting held on 29th November, 2016 with Shri Suyash Narain, Director, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) on Service Level Agreement with Customs. Ministry has assigned this job to ACFI for preparing a paper on Service Level Agreement with Customs.

Mr. KS Kunwar, Director General, ACFI was invited to attend a workshop on “Stakeholder Consultation on Opportunities in Integrated Aviation Hub, Hisar” held on 30th November, 2016 at The Haryana Bhavan, New Delhi. This workshop was jointly organized by The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mahavir Singh, Principl Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, Government of Haryana , along with Capt. Bhupinder Singh, OSD to Chief Minister and other senior ofcers from Airport Authority of India (AAI) and members from the aviation industry.

The key objective of this one-day Workshop was to provide a platform to stakeholder for consultation with senior State Government Ofcials and key industry members from the Aviation sector of Haryana Government.

The focus point of discussion to develop an Aviation Hub at Hisar Airport was on the following issues :-

i Phase 1 – to use the existing airport for Aviation Training, MRO for small Aircraft & FBOi Phase 2 – New Airport to be developed at international level with 9000 feet air strip &

Cargo Terminali MRO for Bigger A/C

Mr. K. S. Kunwar Director General ACFI was the only representative from the Air Cargo Industry suggested the Chairman that :-

i A provision of Air Cargo Terminal should be kept in mind while planning the new international airport under phase 2 master plan for handling International cargo & domestic cargo keeping in mind the future growth, an alternate to IGIA, government futuristic policies i.e. make in India etc

i The present existing Hisar Airport may have arrangements for handling domestic cargo,including e commerce cargo, Airfreight station for bonded cargo moving from Hisar & connecting ights ex IGIA

The 15th ACFI Pharma Export and Import Subcommittee meeting held on 21st Nov' 2016

at Conference Room “Wright Brothers”, Project Ofce, New Udaan Bhawan, Opposite

T3, IGI Airport, New Delhi. This meeting was chaired by Mr. Mahesh Trikha, Chairman of this

Subcommittee and other members attended the meeting namely; Mr. Yashpal Sharma,

Hon. Secretary - ACFI and Director – Skyways Air Services Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sourabh Jain, GM,

Logistics SEZ Cargo – GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. through Video

Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Managing Director, Divine Freight Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Arvind

Aggarwal, S enior Manager, Celebi Delhi Cargo Terminal Management India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Rishi Herenz, Associate General Manager, Delhi International Airport Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Sanjay

Malhotra, Ganeral Manager – Northern India, Penta Freight Pvt. Ltd., Mr. KS Kunwar,

Director General, Mr. DR Juyal, Director and Mr. Brijesh Kumar Sharma, Ofce Assistant from

Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI).

As Pharma is one of the fastest growing product in India and there were noticeable gaps

in the entire chain so the team decided to organize a “Pharma Awareness Workshop”.

Since Gujarat is home to lots of manufacturrs of pharmaceuticals in the country it was

decided to organize this workshop in Ahmedabad and include all stakeholders in the

chain – Shipper, Airline, Terminal operator, freight forwarder, etc. Various key points were

marked out for the workshop to be taken up at the event. Key panel of speakers were also

shortlisted and the date was xed as 14th December, 2016.

The 5th ACFI Board Ofce Bearers Meeting held on 29th November, 2016 at Delhi

Cargo Service Center, Cargo Terminal-2, IGI Airport, New Delhi and discussed various

important issues. This meeting was chaired by Mr. Tushar Jani, President - ACFI and other

members attended the meeting namely; Mr. Yashpal Sharma, Hon. Secretary - ACFI, Mr.

Cyrus Katgara, Vice President - ACFI, Mr. KS Kunwar, Director General - ACFI, Mr. DR Juyal,

Director - ACFI and Mr. Brijesh Kumar Sharma, Ofce Assistant - ACFI. In this meeting were

discussed following Air Cargo Logistics trade related issues:

i To nalize program for the following events scheduled to be held on dated 14th December, 2016 at Gujarat Chambers of Commerce Building, Ahmedabad.

i ACFI recommendation on “Cargo Dwell Time Reduction Road Map” needs to be nalized.

i To increase ACFI Membership.

3. The Pharma core group members of ACFI Pharma Export and Import Subcommittee

meeting held on 29th November, 2016 at Delhi Cargo Service Center, Cargo Terminal-

2, IGI Airport, New Delhi and nalize the program schedule of “Pharma Awareness

Workshop” to be held on 14th December, 2016 at Ahmedabad. This meeting was

chaired by Mr. Yashpal Sharma, Hon. Secretary and Facilitator of the Pharma Export and

Import Subcommittee and other members attended the meeting namely; Mr. Arvind
