Quality Assurance ResultsValue Delivery
Test to TT-C-490C requirements:Specimens shall be exposed to a 5 present salt spray specified in ASTM B117.Single scribe line to be tested, results should be analyzed weekly (or by-weekly) to determine where failure occurs.Explanation and details per TT-C-490E section 3.5.8 states the following for “failure” criteria:•The test coupon will be scraped with a metal putty knife at 30 degree contact angle to the scribe surface and evaluation made. •More than1/8” (3mm) creep, blistering or loss of adhesion from scribed region. (per ASTM D-1654).•More than a rust grade #9 (per ASTM D610)•Not more than 5 scattered blisters, none larger than 3/64 “ (1mm) in diameter on a 4X6” panel.

Note: These test were conducted to test Accu-Fab pretreatment capability using in-process paint at time of testing . It was not intended to test paint and / or paint manufactures. Painting was completed in Accu-Fab’s normal production environment.
