We want all Guests to have an enjoyable day and have created this guide to assist Guests with disabilities so they may plan their day accordingly. This guide outlines the services we offer as well as provides suggested paths of travel, ride requirements, and general information. Throughout Splish Splash, paths of travel are designated with appropriate signage. Please review all posted attraction safety rules and requirements prior to participating. In general, persons with any medical, health or self-imposed restrictions on their physical activity, are frail, overweight for their body type, or under doctor’s care, should not use the attractions. For safety reasons, please follow the Lifeguard’s instructions at all times. Life jackets are available free of charge at Guest Services. You may also use a life jacket from the bins in front of each wave pool free of charge, but these life jackets are only allowed in our wave pools. Only you know your own swimming ability, and that of your children and anyone you are supervising. We strongly recommend all Guests under 48” or who are weak or non- swimmers wear Coast Guard approved life jackets. We suggest that supervising companions keep Guests requiring assistance within arms- reach and under close supervision during all water activities. If you may need any additional assistance throughout your visit, please go to Guest Services to speak with a Park Manager as it is our priority that your visit is as barrier-free as possible. ACCESSIBILITY GUIDE SERVICES 1. Handicap accessible parking is provided. Please ask the Toll Attendant for the exact location. Permits are required to use these parking spaces. Regular parking fees apply. 2. First Aid is located on the restaurant deck near the main plaza and may be used to accommodate storage for prescribed medications and/or serve as a private area for medical necessities. 3. Although outside food and beverage are not permitted inside the park, individuals with special dietary needs due to a medical condition will be permitted to bring in two sandwich bag size containers. Coolers are not permitted. Guests are permitted to exit and return throughout the day with a handstamp. 4. All restrooms have wheelchair accessible stalls. The three restroom locations are the Main Plaza restroom, Doo Drop Inn and Fort Peoria restroom. 5. A limited amount of aquatic wheelchairs are available for Guests to be used free of charge. The aquatic wheelchair is used to safely enter and exit the water. These are provided on a first come first serve basis and may not be reserved in advance. The aquatic wheelchair may be used at Kahuna Bay or Surf City wave pools. If desired, Guests may use their personal wheelchair. Guests using a wheelchair will be permitted in water depth not to exceed the seat of the chair. We do also have regular wheelchairs available for rent at Guest Services. 6. There are two self-service pool lifts available for use. One lift is located at Soak City. The second lift is located at the Lazy River. A tube will be provided for Guests transferring into the Lazy River. 7. Service animals must be physically controlled on a leash or harness at all times. Service animals are not permitted in pools or on attractions. A Service Animal relief station is located at the entrance outside the gate. 8. Accessible seating is provided at all restaurant locations including the restaurant deck, Picnic Grove catering area, and Johnny Rocket’s.

RideAdmissionEach attraction has specific requirementsestablished by the ride manufacturer. Theserequirementsvaryridetorideandarepostedateach attraction. In general, admission isrestrictedbyheight,weight,medicalconditions,and appropriate behavior. In order toparticipate on all slide attractions, Guestsmusthave independent head and neck control, fullbody control, and the ability to brace andbalance. In addition to the requirements listedabove, Guests participating on tube attractionsmustbeabletograspandholdonwithat leastonehandandmaintainanuprightseatedridingposition.Guestsmustbeabletoclimbtheslidetower unassisted to participate on all slideattractions.Please visit: www.splishsplash.com for the ridedescriptions,height,andweightrequirements.ProstheticDevicesProsthetic Devices must be evaluated by ParkManagementpriortoparticipationonanyslides.As long as theGuest can ensure the prostheticdevice is secure and that there is not anyexposed metal, it may be permitted on someattractions.CastsandBracesGuestswithcastsorbraceswillberestrictedfromridingwhenrequiredbythemanufacturer.Guestswithcastsmayberequiredtoaddpaddingtoensurethesafetyofallparticipants.Guestswithfullarm(elbowrestricted)andfullleg(kneerestricted)castsorbracesarerestrictedfrommostattractionsandslides.Wesuggestyoudelayyourvisituntilthecastisremoved.

GuestswithAutismSpectrumDisorderDue to the design of waterslides there are notaccessibleattractionexits,requiringGuestswithautism spectrum disorder and mobilitylimitationstowaitinline.Severalattractionsdonot have lines including Kahuna Bay, Surf City,Soak City and Octopus Pool. Please plan yourdayaccordinglyandletusknowifyouneedanyadditionalassistance.
