Useful tips for students• Be organised. For some subjects, you will sit
your exam(s) at the end of a 2 year course. Therefore, it is essential that your notes are organised.
• Begin revision early and plan your time carefully.
• Be proactive and independent. If you haven't got homework for a subject, use the Home Learning Resources to further your understanding. • Speak to your subject teachers if you need further clarification and support.
• Use feedback from assessed work; it is designed to help you to progress further.

At Malmesbury School, we give students aspirational target grades in order to strive for excellence and to fulfil an
individual’s potential.
Therefore, if on a report it indicates that your attainment ‘needs improvement’,
this should be seen as an opportunity to speak to your teacher to ascertain how
you can progress further.
Make use of the school’s Parents’ Consultation Evenings to discuss subject
specific issues.
