A faculty search takes time:

Proposal: ~25-50 hrs (spread over 3-4 months) Assembly of Application and Submission: ~ 15 20 hrsAssembly of Application and Submission: ~ 15-20 hrs

Interview Prep: ~10-15hrsInterviews: 1-2 days each

Remember, once you have your application assembled, it , y y pp ,only take 1-3 hrs to modify to send to different places.
