THE TRAININGSERVICES
The training services is intended to provide detailed
information, guidance, support and understanding to
pursue the EASA Part 66 to get the Aircraft
Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL) this License are
recognized worldwide. Pitot Aviation decided to provide
to our clients the most outstanding services in Qatar
through our partner. The clients who successfully pass
the module examination are awarded a certificate of
recognition, the approved examination acceptable in all
EASA Member Authorities.

What is EASA Part 66 and why the Certificate of Recognition is required?
Part 66 is basically, specific dedicated sections within the Regulation in which
EASA establishes the standards/ conditions under which a maintenance engineer
is authorized to release an aircraft into service after a maintenance operation.
In order to obtain the Part 66 Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License
(AMEL). The candidate should fulfill the two most important prerequisites defined
in EASA Part-66 Regulations

An applicant for Basic PART-66 Aircraft Maintenance
License or the addition of a category or subcategory,
shall demonstrate a level of knowledge in the appropriate
subject modules in accordance with Appendix I, by the
basic knowledge examinations which is conducted by a
training organization appropriately approved under EASA
Part-147 Regulations. The Certificate of Recognition CoR
is given to candidate upon on successful completion of
examination.
B A S I C K N O W L E D G E R E Q U I R E M E N T S ( PA R T 6 6 . A . 2 5 ) :

PART 66.A.30 EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
An applicant for a PART-66 Category B Aircraft Maintenance License shall have acquired: five
years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft if the applicant has no previous
relevant technical training; or three years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft
and completion of training considered relevant by the competent authority as a skilled worker, in a
technical trade; or two years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft and
completion of a Part -147 approved basic training course.

Why you should to issue the COR and Part 66 AMEL from EASA
Member State?
• An aircraft Maintenance license issued by a country other than EASA
Member States cannot rendered as valid as EASA Part-66 AMEL. On top
of that Part 66 AMEL or Part 66 CoR issued by a Part 147 Organization
(Known as Foreign EASA 147 Organization)or competent authority of the
countries other than EASA Member States are not mutually recognized in
European system

Access to online training manual: the delegates who have registered for Exam Platinum or
Exam Gold, will be granted access to the online Study Material until day of that Examination
4-7 hours of Online classroom lecture (Review): the delegates have registered for Exam
Platinum, will obtain Review session before the examination. The review session will be
delivered by Aviotrace Swiss SA approved instructor through Zoom
Participation to the exam session: The Part 66 examinations are based on the Part 66 syllabus
as set out in Appendix I to Part 66. Part 66 theoretical knowledge and examination requirements
employ a modular syllabus, each module may vary in terms of the subject and category and
complexity of License sought. Examinations are in English
Free second attempt : the delegates who have registered for Exam Platinum, in case of
failed exam a second attempt will be scheduled and provided for each modules in the same
location , in this case the second attempt will be free of charge .

The Delegates who successfully pass the examination are awarded a Certificate of Recognition approved
by the Aviotrace Swiss and Acceptable to Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) and All other EASA
Member state Competent Authorities, which is required for the Issuance of Full EASA Part 66 AMEL

E N T I R E T R A I N I N G
The Entire Training Service is a short Modular theoretical training for six months. The Modular Program
prepares our clients for obtaining the Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) for Category B1 and B2. The Modular
Program covers all Individual Modules of the training content of Part 66 for the relevant category in accordance
with the knowledge level defined in PART-66, appendix 1.
Once the candidate acquired the theoretical knowledge required, through the training class and when they are
ready, they can sit for the EASA Part 66 Basic Examination Approved by Aviotrace Swiss.
Candidate can purchase any of our examination services as an individual module or as package and will have
avail Promotions if any, during time of exam registration.
