The Care Notes screen shows you all observations record for you active resident (the

default time frame is the last 7 days)

From the tab bar you can change the view to show all care notes recorded throughout

the home for the current day.

Adding new Care Notes

When you see this symbol it means that you can add data. In this case you will be given

two options:

1. Add: Note. Tap this and you will be presented with a blank box to free-type a

note. This is particularly useful for anything that is not a routine occurrence.

2. Add: Daily Care Assessment. Tap this and you will be presented with a list of

routine tasks to choose from.

Notes

In the following example we have selected “Morning Routine”. You will see that you have

been prompted with several questions. Simply select what you have done from the lists.

Your chosen answers will be highlighted in green with white text and a big tick . Most

questions are optional and in many cases you can select more than one answer; so only

answer a question with relevant information.

Notes

When all the questions have been answered, select Next on the orange action bar at the

bottom of the screen to work through the full routine.

Notes

When you have worked your way to the end of the routine you will see a summary of your

selections. From this screen you can:

return to a previous screen to amend an incorrect entry by pressing cancel

add additional notes by tapping the screen and using the onscreen keyboard to help

personalise the entry

select an importance level for the entry, .

When you are satisfied with the record, select Save on the bottom action. You will

then be returned to the daily care summary screen, where you will see your entry has been

added.

Good to Know (Timer)

As soon as you select a daily care assessment, a timer will begin. When you save the note the time spent completing the assessment will be recorded. You should therefore select the daily care assessment before commencing the task. Once the task has been completed the app will log the amount of time you have spent performing the task.
