Abhivyakti is Hindi literary society of IIT Bhubaneswar which aims to extendand propagate literary skills in students by providing platform to the students toexpress themselves through Hindi language and to help other students inlearning and speaking in Hindi. Abhivyakti ‘Literary Society’ represents everyHindi writer and speaker in the Institution. The main purpose of the Society isto develop the level of Hindi and to increase the interest of students in Hindi.With a short span of two years, society has organise many inter-college andintra-college competition successfully as well as the society members also hasparticipated in may inter-college events. Abhivyakti always motivates studentsto write their own contents and publishes those in facebook page, in blog ofAbhivyakti and in annual hindi magzine.

INTRODUCTION

Abhivyakti organizes many activities of Hindi speaking and writing in the

Institute like Debates, Poem Writing, Creative Writing, Extempore etc. Apart

from that on occasion of Hindi Divas, Abhivyakti also organizes a 15 days

program (Hindi Pakhwada) in which we organize various kind of Intercollege

Competitions.

Inter College Competition & Participation

Abhivyakti had also participated in ANTARAGNI ( Cultural Fest of IIT

KANPUR) and proved itself as a strong competitor by finishing on 5th

position out of 60 participants. Apart from this it has also successfully

organized various Intercollege Competition like Aamne Samne, Bas ye Pal

& Awaj Dil Ki etc in Hindi Pakhwada.

Future Plans

• Abhivyakti has decided to conduct a workshop on Social Speaking

and another workshop of Hindi Speaking for students who can’t

speak Hindi well.

• It also decided to conduct more number of intercollege

competitions to make a mark in the city.
