INTERNSHIP
DENENA RESIDENCEWhile interning with Teal Design and Landscape, I had the opportunity to work on high end rural residential landscapes. This was the first project I witnessed come to fruition. Plant selection and design context were primary focuses. The importance of design unity was my chief contribution to this project through the unifying of landscape and architectural elements.

Being with a firm that is ran and operated by one person, I was given many responsibilities as an intern. Working on the Lightfoot residence, Mr. Teal tasked me to develop many of the design ideas as well as produce all final presentation renderings for the client.

BECKY GATES CHILDREN’S CENTER In addition to working on residential landscapes, I assisted with commercial projects. Working with Vortex Aquatic Structures, Mr. Teal and I developed construction documents for the installation of a splash pad for The Becky Gates Children’s Center.

FIERO RESIDENCEA low maintenance townhouse yard was designed for the Fiero family to suit their wants and needs. Succulents line the boardwalk patio that overlooks the walk-in saltwater pool. The minimalist approach to this residential design provides the Fieros with a serene backdrop for activities without the worry of typical yard upkeep.
