On a beautiful location, only steps from the coastline, the Park Plaza Histria Pula, a com- fortable 4-star hotel, is situated 4 km from Pula’s historic center. ABOUT PULA Pula is the largest town in Istria County, Cro- atia, located at the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula, with a population of 57,460. Like the rest of the region, it is known for its mild climate, smooth sea, and untouched nature. The town has a long tradition of winemaking, fishing, shipbuilding, and tourism. It has also been Istria’s administrative centre since an- cient Roman times. The town is best known for its many surviving ancient Roman buildings. The most famous of all is the 1st century amphitheatre, which i s among the six largest surviving Roman arenas in the world and locally known as the Arena. It is one of the best preserved ancient monument and is still in use today during summer film festivals. Two other notable and well-preserved an- cient Roman structures are the triumphal Arch of the Sergii and the co-eval temple of Rome and Augustus, built in the 1st century AD during the reign of the Roman emperor Augustus. BACKGROUND AND SCOPE Croatian National Committee of CIGRÉ (www.hro-cigre.hr) together with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb and The Centre of Excellence for Transformers are organizing the 4th Col- loquium on Transformers which will gather specialists from the academic community, research institutes, electric utilities and in- dustrial world. The Colloquium is supported by the CIGRÉ A2 committee. The last Colloquium, encompassing 160 par- ticipants from 22 countries and 50 papers by 136 authors, was held in Split in 2014. The event is the perfect place to exchange ideas, ask questions and express opinions, renew old acquaintances and make new friendships. The aim is to bring together re- searchers from the transformer production, universities, and utilities in order to present and discuss their research results and latest advances in the fields of power, special, dis- tribution and instrument transformers.

MAIN TOPICS

Papers regarding all aspects of power, spe-cial, distribution and instrument transformers are encouraged.The papers will be divided into three main topics: Numerical Modeling - Electromagnetic field - Coupled fields - Transients - Numerical modeling in design, etc. Materials, Components and New Technologies - Insulating material - Magnetic material and transformer noise - Transformer components - Transformer new technologies, etc. Transformer Life Management - Diagnostics and monitoring - Failures - Asset management - In-service experiences, etc.

PROGRAM

The Colloquium will last for three days. The papers will be presented in the morning and afternoon, in oral sessions and poster ses-sions. The CIGRÉ tutorial will be held as well.

WORKING LANGUAGE

The working language for the Colloquium is English. All printed materials, presentations and discussions will be in English.

EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Participants who intend to present written contributions are invited to submit their one-page extended abstract in English before November 1, 2016 to:
