The job description

Wanted Urgently and Permanently: Eligibility: A dead man who is a new

creation. Should have been killed on the cross.

Company: Heaven (also known as Kingdom of God), CEO and Co-worker: God. The incumbent will be representing Heaven’s best interest.

Assignment: Would be needed to win souls and buy back a lost creation with the price of blood already spilled.

The job description

Involvement: Full Time, No breaks, No Holidays, No leaves!!!

Privileges and allowances: Will be equipped with love, holiness and favor and will have a personal counselor and a complete insight of the company’s strategic plans, targets, know -how and provisions.

Remuneration: Pay package will be unseen, immaterial rewards paid in installments with a very high rate of interest and deposited in a bank account which he will be able to cash only following this life is over. May receive blessings and fulfillment in this life too.

Eligibility for the work

John 12:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruitGalatians 2:19  I stopped living for the law. I died to the law, so that I may now live for God. I was killed on the cross with Christ.20  So, the life which I now live is not really me -- it is Christ living in me! I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of God. He is the one who loved me; he sacrificed himself for me. 2 Corinthians 5:17  So, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Listen, everything has become new.

Enablers to our position and role clarity

Ephesians 1: 7  in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,8  which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,9  making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

The Work: tasks

Bringing back people to God:2 Corinthians 5:18  Everything comes from God. He uses Christ to bring us back to Himself. God gave us the work of bringing people back to Himself.19  When God was bringing the people of the world back to Himself in Christ, He was not counting their sins against them. God gave us the message about how He brings people back to Himself.

Soul winner: Proverbs 11:30  The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.Redeemer: Titus 2:14  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.Romans8:19  Creation waits eagerly for the time when the sons of God will be revealed.

Overseer: Acts 20:28  the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

The Pay Package!

2 Corinthians 4:18  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.Colossians 3:24  Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.1 Peter 1:4  …an inheritance which is kept in heaven for you. That inheritance will never decay, spoil, or fade away.Revelation 22:12  Jesus said, "Listen! I am coming soon. The reward I have is with me. I will pay back each person according to the way he lived.”

The outcome

Romans 8:17  Since we are children, we are also heirs -- heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. 18  I consider the sufferings of the present time not worth comparing with the future glory which will be revealed to us.19  Creation waits eagerly for the time when the sons of God will be revealed.20  Creation was tied to worthlessness. That was not what it wanted, but God wanted it that way. So, He bound it. However, there is hope!21  Creation itself will be set free from the slavery of decay and be brought into the glorious freedom of God's children.

Now what?

How do I contribute to building the Kingdom of God? How can I use my talents and opportunities in

spreading God’s message, bringing people to Him? What is my role in redeeming creation? How can I use my talents, resources, abilities and

time better? How can I undertake my assignment in God’s

kingdom in a better way? Where and How can I start (if I haven’t already)? Can we start as a team, a family, a church with

motivation, where every one contributes towards our corporate vision and role clarity in the city of Delhi?
