The Atelier is…. a place of research and experimentation, in

which children encounter various mediums with which to express themselves.

The purpose of the work done in the Atelier is to consider with care the materials, the

research and to stimulate children's creativity.

All the activities are designed to promote creativity, experimentation, to enrich sensory

experiences and to create knowledge.

THE HUNDRED LANGUAGES OF CHILDREN

The aim of the Reggio Approach is to promote children’s education through the development of all of their languages. These languages are:

expressive, communicative, symbolic, cognitive, ethical, metaphorical, logical, imaginative and relational.

The environment should act as an aquarium which reflects the ideas, ethics, attitudes, and culture of the people who
