RECAP CONTINUED More Woodturning Magazine is offering a years subscription to one lucky turner, this will be done at the luncheon by way of a ticket drawing open to all members of CCW. This comes with a $25.00 value. A brief discussion was held regarding a offer from the Morro Bay Art Center regarding a “WOODTURNERS SHOW”, More of this challenge will be met in a short time. George Paes will try to meet with Mike Rude and the staff of the center. The original though was to expand to all California Chapters but constraints will need to just CCW. Gordon Rowland reports that several Pro Demonstrators have been in contact and hopefully a date will be set. If in your travels and chats you learn of a potential Demonstrator, please forward that info to Gordon. Two Notes From Jadon Smith, our librarian, Makers place is up and running and all are urged to visit.2nd note from Jadon, Due to travel plans he will not attend the February meeting so you get to keep the “Loaners” for an extra month but don’t forget to return them in March. He says several have been out for a while. In a few days you will receive a complete list of all CCW members and please note the column on the far right listing your dues paying obligation. If you wish to pay up fine, but if you wish to drop off the list pleases notify Larry Truesdale via E-Mail. Be reminded that CCW will donate $250.00 to one person who will be attending the 2017 AAW Symposium in Kansas City in June, if there’s more than one attendee we’ll have a drawing.
