Regeneration
Players within the squad can choose their best preparation method to relax and
regenerate for the upcoming game.
Travelling to the Game
• Travelling to the game we have a selection of options to help the players
to relax. (Playing Cards, DVDs)
• Players personal routines respected. (Personal music ipod, Personal
activity ipad, Books)
Note: Wireless is available on the coach.
Hotel prior to Training
• Players will have a few hours after check in to relax and prepare for
training.
After Dinner
• Players can return to their rooms
• Players can play, snooker, darts in hotel games room booked for the club
Prior to Game
• Players can have normal hotel breakfast
• Players join the squad together for a pre match meal at 11.15am
PREPARATION – POST TRAINING CONTINUED
Evaluation
Players are provided with a webblog to show the videos and key general aspects
tactically for the Saturday game. Individual players will also be given individual
web pages to view relating to their task and how it relates to their game.
Match Analysis
• Web Blog will provide all the information required for the team and the
key individuals in the team.
• These can be discussed at anytime with Technical team and reviewed
within pre match meeting.
Medical/Performance
• Physio will be available at all times to assess players.
• Physio player report must be proved prior to our travel.
• Alternative training arrangement can be organised for individuals
• The physio must inform conditioning coach and assistant coach if players
require a different training routine to the main squad.
Assistant Coach and Team manager
• Must confirm all bookings on the Thursday prior to travel.
• All payments must be paid with confirmation approved.
• This confirmation email must be sent prior to the Friday travel.
Final Plans
• This confirmation email must be sent prior to the Friday travel.
• This must all confirmed bookings, times, and any adjustments such as
different player training requirements, Individual meal requirements.

• 0-5 minutes- Gather information from Assistant and decide based on notes
and 1st
half discussion what the 3 points are.
• 0-5 minutes – Team manager go ahead and make sure the players are
relaxed taking in drinks and quietly reflecting on the first half, personal
time.
• 0-5 minutes – Team manager to make sure players are all fit and direct
them to physio if they need attention.
• Coach and Assistant then prepare their team talk
5-10 minutes
• 5-10 minutes- Coach now talks through the 3 main points in general to the
group based on the pre match plan and input from his Assistant
• 5-10 minutes – Coach then asked 2 key players questions on certain
moments of the game.
10-15 minutes
• 10-15 minutes – Player can now go to the toilet, stand up and have
personal time.
• 10-15 minutes – Again Myself and my Assistant now chatted to a few
players and asked for feedback away from the group. This feedback
included their frustrations with a few players not pulling their weight or
struggling. We made no changes so I listen and we agree between us we
would try and lift these players.
