Season Spinner Print on cardstock, laminate, and add a spinner (milk jug arrows, baby diaper pins, plastic spinner arrows,
pencil/paperclip, etc.) The spinner can also be projected on the board and used with a large magnet
spinner for whole group activities.
Use the season spinner for the following activities:
•Place all season picture cards face up. Spin and picka picture card that matches the season
•Place picture cards face down in a pile. Draw a cardand spin. If the card matches the season, keep the card. If not, put the card in the discard pile.
•Spin and say a characteristic/fact of the season.
•Spin and write a characteristic/fact of the season onthe 4 season graphic organizer.
Seasonal Changes •Draw/write how something changes due to theseasons (plants, trees, animals, etc)

Season Charts •Group work: each group researches a season andcompletes the chart. Complete the 4 season chart as a whole group. •Individual work: fill out the charts and combine tomake a book. Draw illustrations for the seasons on the back of the previous page.
