INT. BEDROOM - DAY1 1

We see a C/U on a time piece (clock, watch etc)

LOLA, female 20, wakes from a DEEP SLEEP and stretches herhands to the stars. She takes in their surroundings, her eyes

and body betraying her emotions.

Lola sits up and rubs her eyes, brushing her face clear ofnighttime in preparation for the day ahead.

She gets up from her bed and STRETCHES out even further, herfeet gently scuffing the floor with a practiced ease. We seeher surrounds, an ENVIRONMENT that clearly reflects hercharacter.

The SOUND of a TELEPHONE RINGING cuts through and bringsSHARP attention from Lola...

...who answers after a few RINGS.

LOLAHello?...

(beat)...ok.

(Beat)...bye.

Lola hangs up the phone, quickly changing tone, clearlyREACTING to some unheard request. She moves around her space,getting dressed.

INT. BEDROOM - DAY2 2

Lola is checking her appearance in a mirror, her eyessearching deep into their reflection. Seemingly unsure ofwhat shes found, Lola turns away briefly and then completesthe process of getting washed.

EXT. DRIVEWAY - DAY3 3

Lola steps from her house and feels the cold breath of theday on her skin, sending a slight ripple around her body. Shehugs in tight to herself, and looks in all directions beforedeciding on a way to go.

She heads off with a sense of purpose reflecting her mood,the environment coming into sharp view and also reflects theMOOD OF THE DAY.

EXT. ROAD - DAY4 4

The cold air BITES across the place as Lola travels onwards,her eyes taking in the surrounds with a familiar glint.

Across the way from Lola another PERSON strides forwards, notpaying any attention in this direction. Lola flicks them alook, pausing slightly, but then continues onwards.

Around them, the location spreads in all directions...

EXT. LANE - DAY5 5

Lola is now moving through a TIGHTER LOCATION, her energy andposture suggesting shes unfamiliar with her surroundings...

...Lola PULLING up abruptly and looking around.

A move to go one way and then the other, before finallydeciding and then heading off again, her actions ECHOING

around the location.

EXT. PARK - DAY6 6

Emerging through a BLUR of action, Lola is unsure of theirplace, now clearly LOST, eyes darting one way then another.Her emotion of the moment almost takes over.

A quick check of her PHONE and then back onto the view...

...something CLICKS in the sight, Lola brightening withexcitement and heads in that direction.

EXT. PARK - DAY7 7

Lola moves into SHARP view, she has clearly been travellingfor some time, as her body pulls itself slowly to a halt.

We see her BREATH breaking the cold air, slowly envelopingher. Her eyes hold tight on the distance as she takes out aMOBILE PHONE from her pocket and PUNCHES in a number...

...we can just hear the faint SOUND of the dialing TONE, then

her eyes flick to attention as its answered.

LOLAHello, its me...

(Beat)...Im here, where are you?

(beat)...oh, ok. See you.

She puts the phone away, and turns her eyes back to thehorizon.

EXT. PARK - DAY8 8

We see the FEET of SARAH, female late 30s, as she travelsforwards, her location and identity slightly obscured.

EXT. PARK - DAY9 9

Lola fiddles with a thread on her COAT, and steps around,looking towards one way then another.

A undefined SOUND alerts her and she SWINGS round sharply.

Her eyes squint, trying to focus and then relax, recognitionPEELING across her face...

...A couple of steps forward, Lola waiting to greet...

...Sarah, who appears into view across the way.

Lola makes a little gesture across to them, this is clearlysomeone they know.

Sarah returns the gesture and comes ever closer.

Lola holds steady, her eyes picking out something...

...Sarah is carrying a LETTER.

SARAHSorry Im late.

Lola nods.

LOLASok. I was early.

Sarah arrives at the feet of Lola and they exchange agreeting.

SARAHCold today, isnt it?

LOLAYeah...

(beat)...I suppose it is.

Sarah and Lola hold still for a moment, then Sarah holds outthe LETTER.

SARAHI hope its right.

Lola takes the LETTER, eyes down to it for a moment then back

to Sarah.

LOLAThanks.

Sarah looks around and rubs hands together.

SARAH

They say it might snow...(beat)

...think it will?

LOLADont know. Maybe.

(beat)Thanks again.

Sarah acknowledges and turns to walk away.

SARAH

I think it will.

Lola watches, as Sarah leaves the way she came, slowlydisappearing from sight like an raindrop on a window.

A few moments pass, Lola fingering the LETTER, before shealso turns and leaves, the sound of her DEPARTURE filling thelocation.

INT. BEDROOM - LATER10 10

Lola is sat, the trappings of her life and home surroundingher.

Her eyes flick to the floor, the wrappings of the LETTER layin pieces...

...the CONTENT of the package is there to be seen and clearlyinfluences the MOOD and ATMOSPHERE of Lola.

We hold for a moment, taking in the sight....

.... before we drift and returns to a C/U on a time piece(clock, watch etc) and we...

...CUT TO BLACK
