It is time to Celebrate! Are you ready?

You will be inviting 29 people to join you to help you celebrate an occasion that is special to you. It can be Christmas, A birthday, Religious Holiday, Cultural Celebration.

You will need to… Create a list of people you will be inviting Plan a dinner for 30 people Plan a cooking timetable for the day Purchase your ingredients Purchase decorations for your celebration Purchase 30 presents, one for each guest and one for yourself. Area and table arrangements Provide your guests with entertainment Write up the day’s schedule

Who will you invite?

You need to create a list of your guests. You must invite at least 5 children to your celebration (it can be more). Put your guests into the table below. Don’t forget to provide details about your guest.

Planning the Dinner… You will need to plan an entrée, main and dessert for 30 people. You will need to purchase the ingredients needed for your meals. You will need to find the recipes online. Look at how many it will make (you might need to double or triple the recipe) You will then needed to workout how much you need to purchase, then the cost. You will have a budget of $550.00

Hint: Try Taste.com.au then once you have your recipe, select all ingredients and click Shop Ingredients Now (button)… the website is linked to Coles and will give you a total cost. You might need to take note of how many people the recipe is for and multiply the cost to make enough for everyone ( serves 6 people, then multiply the Cost by 5 (6X5=30), so you can serve 30 people)

Design the LayoutYou will now need to design the layout of the space you will be using. You will have an area of 40m² (40 squares x 40 squares in your grid book)

Is your area inside or outside? Don’t forget to include your table/s with a total of 30 chairs and your decorations.
