Transform the datacenterHelp your customers move forward in the age of the cloud
Microsoft Momentum
And the market is noticing"Microsoft more than any other vendor has the ability to unify the public cloud platform with Azure and the private cloud with Windows Server"
• Rob Helm, Directions on Microsoft
“Everything in System Center and Hyper-V is designed to deliver, manage and control the quality of services, either in straight-up virtualization or via a cloud. I just don't see that in the loosely coupled framework of VMware products.”
• Aidan Finn in TechTarget article
“When you work for the enterprise, you have to choose Microsoft.”
• Alexi Venneri, CMO Digital Air Strike
“Microsoft Leaps Ahead of VMware In Hybrid Cloud Management”
• John Ross CRN
“In my mission of having storage cost less than $100 per user for VDI … Server 2012 R2 [is] helping pave the way for organizations to see this as a reality.”
• Gunnar Berger, Gartner

• ESG Labs Validation: Windows Server 2012 with SQL Server 2012
• The sum of the number of transactions processed per second and the average response time for
the 10 transaction types were monitored as virtual CPUs were added from 4-64. The OLTP
workload and concurrent user counts remained constant. The number of brokerage transactions
per second scaled linearly up to 64 virtual processors.
Linear Performance & Scale with SQL
Linear Performance & Scale with Exchange• ESG Labs Validation: Windows Server 2012 with Exchange Server 2013
• An Exchange 2013 infrastructure deployed within twelve Hyper-V virtual machines, running on a single physical server, supported the I/O requirements of up to 48,000 simulated users, while average database read response times ranged between 5.02 and 15.31 milliseconds, well below the Microsoft recommended limit of 20 milliseconds.
