Message of Gratitude
We all endure challenges during life. However, our selfless service to others becomes our legacy. The trials we face and missing parts can be made whole through sharing our talents and giving our service to others regardless of race, background, or other worldly labels and affiliations. This is how our Father carried himself as a man of God. May we all move forward guided by spirit and truth, keeping this simple yet powerful principle in mind and practice, as we continue to honor the life our Father.

Obituary
This world, however beautiful, was never meant to be, The place that we would call our home for eternity.
And though we would not choose to leave, a loving God knows best. And in His time, He lifts us to a place of peace and rest. – R. Irving
Mr. Wendell Keith Glenn, age 59, the eighth child of the late Robert Sr. and Virginia Miller Glenn, was born on January 2, 1961, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Wenn attended the public schools of Spartanburg County where he excelled as an athlete at Byrnes High School. He was selected his freshman year to join the Varsity Football Team and later he became a starter his sophomore season, both tremendous accomplishments. During his athletic career, he played both Running Back on offense and Linebacker on defense, another special feat.
Wenn joined Allen View United Methodist Church at an early age, where he enjoyed using his gift of song and service to others. Wendell joined the All Male Choir in 1995 under the leadership of Rev. Alfred Wright. He was the current President of the United Methodist Men’s Organization at Allen View, which aims to help men grow in Christ. He remained rich is his service to God in both roles until his health began to decline. He equally remained steadfast in his selfless devotion to family and his children, always leading with love and an authentic desire to help others unconditionally.
Wenn entered into eternal rest on April 20, 2020, at Spartanburg Regional Health Care Center. Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, daughter India Glenn, and brother Raymond Glenn. Tyenisha Glenn of Charlotte, NC, Tomás Glenn of New York, NY and Trey Glenn of Wellford, SC; siblings Charlotte (P L) Griffin of Columbia, SC, Mamie Higgins, Frank (Pearl) Glenn both of Woodruff, SC, Kathy (Danny) Gilliam, Rev.
