Dr. Akshay Rathi M.D.S. Mumbai A Brief Biography Dr. Akshay Rathi, Mumbai University topper and gold medallist, graduated from GDC&H, Mumbai and proceeded to do his post graduation in Orthodontics from the Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai where he also served as a full time lecturer for 6 months. He has received numerous scholarships during his meritorious academic career, including the IDA awards for proficiency in Orthodontia, Community Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry, and also several Mumbai University Scholarships and Gold Medal in Orthodontics. He maintains an exclusive Orthodontic practice in Juhu, Mumbai and is also an Orthodontist to leading private clinics. Once every month, he visits Oman as a Consultant. He has presented and published several papers. He is the Editor of the journal Gonion and also the course director of Orthotrain – a multi module course in Clinical Orthodontics for General dentists since 2005. He has also conducted advanced hands-on course in micro-implants for Orthodontists.
