RE Sacrament Preparation Parent Night
Parents of our Grade Two Religious Education
students are asked to attend an informational
gathering, Wednesday, September 25, 6:30 - 7:30 pm
at Saint Patrick Church as we review the parish
preparation process for the celebration of First
Reconciliation to be held in December. At-home
materials and the preparation calendar will be
distributed. The gathering is intended for parents only.
One parent from each family is required to
attend. Questions may be directed to 592-5711 x.3 or
Rediscover the Saints Adult Study Series
Our parish Thursday Morning Adult Study Group will be-
gin its Fall Series Thursday, September 19 with a coffee
and social hour following morning Mass at Saint Patrick
Church. Copies of the book, Rediscover the Saints by
Matthew Kelly will be distributed as our study guide
along with a session calendar. In this study, as we
consider the lives of twenty-four saints, we will be invited
to collaborate with God's grace as the saints teach us,
encourage us, challenge us and inspire us. Cost of the
book is $15. The nine week study begins Thursday,
October 3, 8:35 - 9:30 am. Study dates are: October 3,
10, 24, 31; November 7, 14, 21; December 5 and 12.

Presbyteral Assembly. Kindly keep them

Coffee and Conversation
Registered Pharmacist and parishioner, Jennifer Parker
will facilitate our next Coffee and Conversation gather-
ing Tuesday, September 24, 8:30 - 9:45 am. Our topic
is "Keeping One's Balance and Preventing Falls" as
Jenn provides information on risk factors for medica-
tion-related falls, creating and using a personal
medication record, developing ways to find out the side
effects of medications, and fall prevention strategies.

Care Team Ministry Renewal Day
All members of our parish Care Team Ministry are
invited to out Team Renewal Day, Thursday, September
26, at Saint Patrick Church, Lodi. The day begins with
the 8:00 am Mass followed by team building activities,
an update on ministry policies and procedures with
Catholic Charities CTM coordinator Melissa Kelley,
identifying team needs and challenges, establishing
goals for 2020 and team affirmation and prayer. A box
lunch luncheon will conclude the day at 11:45 am. All
team members are encouraged to attend. Please let
team coordinators Patsy Baebler or Elizabeth Hoadley
know if you plan to attend.

Bishop Donald Hying will be coming
to celebrate Holy Mass in Lodi on
Sunday, September 29th at 10:00 am
at Saint Patrick. We look forward to
welcoming him to Lodi!
40 Days for Life Campaign
Join Blessed Trinity Parish in praying at Planned Par-
enthood in Madison for one hour this fall during the 40
Days for Life campaign. Statistics show that more
women choose life for their babies when people are on
the sidewalk praying and peacefully witnessing for life.
Blessed Trinity Parish needs your help to fill the hours
we have committed to over the 6 week campaign from
September 25 - November 3. Our Blessed Trinity time
slot is on Sundays from 2 pm - 3 pm. Are you willing to
help fill just one of these hours? Sign up sheets are at
Saint Patrick or Saint Michael entryways or contact our
Parish Liaison, Judene Skrum at (608) 849-5632.
