Starting with the Class of 2021 and Beyond- students will only have TWO pathways to meet the high school graduation requirements:

Math DepartmentPARCC sample question
Parcc released questions are solved in Math classes so that students can get familiar with the PARCC style questions as well as the language. This way they will not get discouraged or intimidated by the test when they take it. Also Freshmen are given an extra math class which is called Assessment Prep to prepare them for PARCC Algebra I in which they need a passing score in order to graduate high school.

● Khanacademy.org- is a great online website resource for students to watch Math videos on many topics.
● IXL.com - is a program that will be implemented in all math classes which provides grade level math skills practice to students. It also lets teacher to track student progress as well as their weaknesses and strengths.
● Desmos.com - is an online graphing tool that can be used for homework help or when students need to do graphing at home without a physical calculator.
● Pearsonrealize.com - All students will be given access to the online textbook in their math classes. This is a great resource students should utilize to revisit information and review examples on lessons.

assignments.3. Have your child log on to IXL to practice problems.➔ Students will be be given access by their math teachers. Please
encourage them to log on to IXL and practice at home.4. Ask them if they have finished their HW for the day and have them
charge their iPads for the next day.5. Have them use a planner or google calendar to track and know what
tests, quizzes, projects are coming up as well as school events.6. Check SIS regularly to check grades, and communicate with their
teachers. (email is preferred and can be done through google classroom)
