SMILE! It’s time for a new church d i r ec tory . The Li f e touch representative (formerly Olan Mills) will be here on January 8-12 and January 15-17 to take what always promises to be priceless pictures of your family for our updated pictorial directory. We are now scheduling for the week of January 8-12. The sign-up sheets will be available in the Welcome Center Sundays and Wednesdays. You may also call Amy or Paula in the Church Office to sign up. Please sign up as soon as possible to get the best appointment to fit your schedule.

Nursery Workers Needed

We need volunteers in the 8:45 service. If you are not currently serving in the nursery, we would love for you to consider serving in this area. Please let Janet or Raye Ann know if you are interested.

2012 Contributions Deadline Contributions must be delivered to the church accounting office by noon, Friday, December 28, 2012, or placed into the offering boxes on December 30, 2012 to claim a 2012 charitable contribution deduction.

If you are making withdrawals from an IRA or transferring stock, etc., please consult with your banker/broker/tax advisor in advance to determine current IRS rules and to allow sufficient processing time for you to receive 2012 contribution credit.

Monies placed in the offering during the first service in 2013 will NOT qualify for a charitable deduction in 2012, even if the check is predated to 2012 or was actually written in 2012.

Under the “mailbox exception”, checks that are written, mailed AND postmarked in 2012 will be deductible in 2012, even though they are not received until 2013.
