Do you know what God has or-
dained for your life? God has a
plan for each of us. His plan
for Sister Eddie Moser was to
work in the Ministry. Minis-
ter Moser calling was to be-
come a Minister. She was
licensed by Pastor McGowens
in Nov. 2002 at Galilee Baptist
Church in Winston-Salem. Minister
Moser continued her education at
Wake Forest University, where she
earned a Masters of Divinity in 2006
While earning her degree she worked
part-time for Mt. Tabor United
Methodist. After graduation she
became a full-staff member of ,
Ardmore United Methodist
Church. In 2010 Minister Moser
became a member of Greater
Galilee (WS) where she serves
as Christian Education Director.
She was ordained by the High Point
Educational & Missionary Baptist As-
sociation on Thursday, July 21st. Min-
ister Moser is currently employed with
Goodwill Industries where she serves
as Rehabilitation Services Manager.

The first
Vacation Bible
School for the
Winston-Salem
location was held
in collaboration
with Southside
Baptist Church on June 20th-22nd. This year’s theme
“Splash N’ God’s Word” focused on water theme bible
stories such as Jonah, Noah and others. The members
of Southside and Greater Galilee taught lessons, music
and arts & crafts.
Deidra Moses was the
recipient in the Winston-Salem
location of the Annie T. Davis
Scholarship. Deidra is a
student at Forsyth Technical
Community College. She is a member of Ladies of
Praise Dance Team and secretary of the Winston-Salem
Transportation Team. Deidra’s mother accepted the
award on her behalf.

Linville and the Piney
Grove Baptist Church
were our special guest for
the Saturday service.
Members of GGBC-Charlotte Missionary Ministry
where also present to show their support. Sister
Christine Luke (Charlotte Location) presented the
Missionary Emphasis. Pastor Linville and the
PGBC Choir filled the house with great preaching
and praise through the preached Word of God and
songs. Connected to Christ & Ladies of Praise
ministered together through dance.

Pastors/Ministers, Ushers, Secu-
rity, Help Ministry and Youth. On
Thursday evening, July 21st, the
Associat ion
held it’s Ordi-
nation Cere-
mony for
those minis-
ters who com-
pleted their
requirements
and educa-
tional train-
ing. Three
woman from various churches in
the Association where ordained,
including Minister Eddie Moser of
the Winston Salem location. The
Winston-Salem location has been a
member of the HPEMB Associa-
tion since October 2010.
The High Point Association held
its 122nd Annual Session at New
Calvary Baptist Church, Greens-
boro, NC on July 17th. The Male
Chorus and the
Young Adult En-
semble set the stage
for the Word that
was going to come
forth. Pastor
McGowens deliv-
ered the message
for the opening ses-
sion. The sermon
titled “The Faith-
fulness of God” (Lam 3:21:23)
was delivered with as much enthu-
siasm and holy ghost power as if
it was his first sermon for the day.
The General Sessions was a week-
long event that was held at Vanda-
lia Presbyterian Church in Greens-
