Digital Classroom• Our classroom is part of the GCISD

Digital Classroom Pilot Project

• Teaching and learning will look different– Some assignments will be different– Students need access to technology

• Arrangements need to be made to complete assignments during Stampede and/or before/after school if not access at home

• Communication and flexibility will be a key component for success

Journaling

• Reflected in changes in the state curriculum

• Research shows that students are better prepared and achieve higher on standardized tests

• Journaling and reflection will be a large focus in science this year

• If you have not filled out the online Laboratory Safety Agreement, Technology User Agreement and Technology survey please do so NO LATER THAN FRIDAY

• I will email a Weekly Newsletter on Thursday or Friday each week

• Weekly lesson plans and homework on website as well– Will update on website if I make changes– Will also encorporate Edmodo and/or Project
