As part of a campaign to raise awareness for one of the largest solar rebate programs available, I designed and executed this folded mailer. The campaign included web, print, and marketing components, all of which I designed and executed as well. The mailer meets all USPS requirements, and HPI experienced increased web traffic and sales.

Created a brand-new logo and identity. Comped and executed a Drupal/Ubercart-based store with extensive backend capabilities. Managed content transfer and configuration of site to launch. Directed and produced numerous web videos, as well as demonstration reels for broadcast television.

Conceived, shot, directed and produced video for several dozen DVDs, including generating graphics for packaging and internal menus, managing video assets, and generating masters for duplication.

Managed all social assets as well...Youtube, which generated hundreds of new subscriptions, Facebook, Twitter, and email marketing via Mailchimp.

Skills: Concept/mockupIllustrationGraphics productionBooth construction For ten years, I helped conceive, design, and construct the prominent booth Sanyo Energy featured at the Consumer Electronics Show, along with all related print materials, giveaways, and other coordinated items for the giant New Year’s show. This included large-scale displays, free-standing displays and material holders (brochures, etc), and purely custom-built items. For instance, we crafted a university for one show, complete with ivied brick walls and a large “classroom” stage area. We also built an entire display into a semi-truck trailer, and parked the fully graphically treated truck in the middle of the CES show floor.

After a damaging flood the management decided to completely overhaul an only modestly developed nature walk, and they wanted a great experience for their visitors. So they brought me in. I went to the resort and walked the trails, sketching and comping a variety of signage options. Afterwards I sourced the signs to an appropriate vendor, keeping in mind the fact that they were to be outside in punishing Arizona weather. I researched the animals and plants in the area, gathered all materials, and produced files for over 200 signs to grace their nature walk, managed the project on budget, and delivered the signs when specified, even handling the packing and shipping myself. The response from guests has been universally positive, with the signs in place even today.

Skills: Concept/mockupIllustrationGraphics productionDieline creation Quantum was brought on board to manage all of the 250-franchisee network’s materials, designing, producing, and digitally distributing materials nationwide to a fractious group of autonomous franchisees. After approval of graphics, I created customizable materials for franchisees to deploy magazine, newspaper, Yellow Pages, web, radio, and other advertisements in what was called a Top Of Mind Awareness Kit (TOMA Kit). I helped craft all visual communications materials, from start to finish, and designed an online distribution method based around Screenmobile’s website…still being used by the growing franchise to this day.

After a creative meeting I mocked up and upon approval produced an entire suite of coordinated business materials, in matching styles, including cards, presentation folders, brochures, and templates for advertising. I also generated a style guide, showing color and logo usage, for their new materials.

Upon approval of identity materials we developed a new site, with an entirely new look and feel, built on a development server. I managed the entire site’s content transfer, troubleshooting, and cleanup, getting the site ready for launch. Additionally I integrated the site with Salesforce and Constant Contact, the CRM used by HPI. I also produced video and audio for the website and other promotional use.

Additionaly I generated trade show materials, such as booth graphics and backdrops, which I built to spec, vended, and sometimes constructed personally.
