The CulturalLaureate Program(CLP)A Salisbury Universityeducation is more thanclassroom learning, shaping afuture career and makingnew friends. Programs similar to SU’sCLP are offered at a limitednumber of private and publicuniversities around thecountry. At a few selectprivate schools, participationis mandatory in recognitionof the important role that thearts and other extracurricularactivities play in contributingto a complete education. How do Iparticipate in the CLP?SU students are invited toparticipate in the CulturalLaureate Program byattending at least five differentcultural events per semester.Choose from a selected list ofevents on SU’s campus,including concerts, theatre,dance, lectures and exhibits.CLP-approved events arelisted in this brochure.

How is myattendance atthese eventsrecorded?Look for the sign!Look for the CLPrepresentative at theentrance to the event to signin. You are expected to stayand enjoy the entire event.*Your attendance at CLPevents is tracked by SU’sOffice of Cultural Affairs;attend at least five selectedevents during the semesterand you will become aCultural Laureate.

What are therewards ofbecoming aCultural Laureate?• Experience five or more outstandingcultural events per semester

• Take full advantage of your SU education
