has been trained in our unique project methodology (an enhanced version of the recognised Prince
2 Project Management System).
We avoid surprises and bottlenecks by employing this method to thoroughly plan your renovation.
Using contemporary project management software, we then offer you a view of both the renovation
process and how your project is progressing through it.
Importantly, your Project Manager receives their bonus only when they deliver your
renovation on time, on budget and to Australian Standards.

research to better understand which renovations add the most value to properties in various
Melbourne metro suburbs.

At recruitment, our screening process for our trades included three checkpoints:
1. Registered & Qualified.
You’ll know they’re trade qualified, up to the mark and deliver Australian construction
standards. Each trade is registered and demonstrates a high standard of work – including
keeping their workplace (your home) tidy throughout your renovation.
2. The Right Attitude.
Past experience proves that happy, friendly, communicative people onsite deliver a better
quality outcome for your renovation. They’re also more reliable and take pride in their
work.
We excluded ‘tough guys’, because your project will benefit from friendly, co-operative
types who comprehend the needs of those around them.

3. Good Character.
You’ll know they’re reputable because each person on Makeover Group projects has
undergone a police check when we originally took them on. We also spoke with their past
