The Africa Energy Forum (AEF) is the global investment meeting for Africa’s power, energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

Nineteen years in the running, AEF brings together senior-level representatives from governments, utilities, regulators, power developers, financial institutions, technology providers, consultants, law firms and large energy consumers to form partnerships, identify

opportunities and collectively move the industry forward.

AEF has a loyal following of credible players working in the power space, and a track record of delivering a valuable networking experience. AEF 2016 attracted 2,100 participants from

80 countries, 32 of those being African.

2017 AGENDA HIGHLIGHTS

A whole separate platinum agenda will bring government delegations from across Africa to present their project development pipelines and announce new projects seeking investment

A three stream open agenda will present expert industry panels and seminars to dive into discussions on financing, technologies, project development and regional co-operation

A whole additional pre-AEF networking day will be added to the agenda on the 6th of June, inviting delegates to join us at the golf club and a private cocktail boat cruise. This will allow

delegates to start connecting before the formal start of the Forum

Hosting the Forum for the first time in the Nordic region will allow AEF to tap into expertise, experience and investment from the northern countries for the first time adding to the

growing AEF participants

Copenhagen has been chosen as the host city this year to capitalise on the investment potential of NORDIC countries into Africa. As Denmark leads the way with its green energy

initiatives and blending of public and private finance, Copenhagen is the perfect setting to host the Forum and welcome our

international delegates
