Our training program provides in-person, livevirtual (Zoom) and self-paced online learningofferings. Most courses will be pre-scheduledfor you to attend in-person or virtually.

Some offerings are listed for staff inleadership positions or an audience who havedirect reports. They are noted in the catalogas Supervisor-Level Only.

There are also topics specifically designed forteams in an individual department and/ordivision. They are listed asDepartment/Division Requests Only.Leadership can contact HR to coordinatethese courses for their team-members.

Theseresources offer general information on each topicpresented and serve as valuable tools both forindividuals who are pursuing their own growth, andfor supervisors and managers who are looking forcoaching or development opportunities foremployees around their busy schedule.

We have a minimum of 10 attendees per class (Thisnumber does not apply to the employee leadershipprograms). There is a chance the class will be cancelledif there are less than 10 signed up at the enrollmentdeadline. Smaller team trainings will be reviewed on acase by case basis. In-person class maximum is basedon topic, room capacity, etc.If registration is at full capacity or past the deadline, awaitlist will be generated.When employees enroll in training, they are responsiblefor getting approval and scheduling arrangementsthrough their immediate supervisor. These classes may vary in location, therefore, please bemindful of travel time, food etiquette and etc. in eachconference room building. Depending on how late you arrive, you may not getcredit for attending the course. For virtual training, please enter your full first and lastname when registering and when participating via Zoomin order to get credit. Monthly email communications will be sent prior totraining to pre-register by the deadline.Registration is not required for self-paced courses.However, please print your certificate for your ownrecords.Employees should notify Human Resources (HR) assoon as possible when they are unable to attend class.Any changes to the location or start time will be updatedin the posted catalog and sent to registered participants.

EMPLOYEE LAW AND POLICYOVERVIEW (2 PARTS)

This class is designed to increase employeeunderstanding of the chapter 2 portion of theemployee relations policy under EEO,discrimination, sexual harassment andretaliation. The program also recognizes that inaddition to knowledge of the law, preventingharassment is largely dependent on workplaceculture, values, and the behaviors that areencouraged or discouraged.
