One Day Symposium One Day Symposium on Nanotechnology will be held on
24-11-2021 (Wednesday) at 09:00 am to 03:00 pm and
Scientists/researchers having good name and profile in
the field of nanotechnology will deliver talks on different
aspects of Nanotechnology.
Poster Competition A Poster competition will be held and cash prizes will be
awarded to top three posters. All people who are inter-
ested in poster presentation/competition should keep in
mind the following instructions:
a)- Theme of the poster should be purely Nanotechnology
based.
b)- Size of the poster should lie in the range 48 inches (H)
by 36 inches (W).
c)- Presenter should be well prepared to answer the evalua-
tors/participants queries.
Nanotechnology is considered as one of the important
technologies which have recently emerged in the globe.
Nanotechnology is vibrant area of science, technology and
engineering which exhibits great potential of applications
in diversified sectors such as Health, Food & Agriculture,
Textile, Electronics, Environment, Energy, Biomedical ,
Pharmaceutics, Energy, etc. National Institute for Biotech-
nology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE) has established a
strong infrastructure to carry out cutting edge research
related with this promising field. Nanobiotechnology
Group (NBT) at NIBGE is a dynamic and active group
which has proved its excellence in the field of nanotechnol-
ogy through research articles, funded projects, valued local
& international collaborations, patent, books, MS/PhD stu-
dents produced, industrial linkages, sophisticated tech-
niques/equipment, commercial analytical services and or-
ganization of event, etc. Like every year, we hereby an-
nounce ONE DAY SYMPOSIUM ON NANOTECHNOLOGY RE-
SEARCH IN PAKISTAN at NIBGE this year too. We hope that
this event will provide all the participants with a good
thrill of motivation as well as novel opportunity for having
an updated information in emerging field of Nanotechnol-
ogy, and also to establish collaborations.

There is No accommodation arrangement for sympo-
sium participants. Registration fee can be paid before
or at the time of registration by the participants in the
form of Cash/Bank Draft in favour of “Accounts Officer,
NIBGE, Fsd”.
