All-State Family Fact Sheet: Congratulations on being a family member of one of the state’s finest high school musicians! Please take a few minutes to read these highlights to help you prepare for your attendance. Stay up to date by going to our convention webpage: www.tmea.org/convention. Family Convention Badges All-State student family members (who are not also music educators) are provided complimentary convention badges. Although you do not need a badge to gain entry to concerts, you do to enter the exhibit halls. Go to the Family/Clinician booth in the registration area to obtain your family badge. Music educators must register for convention. Exhibit Halls Be sure to arrive early enough to shop in our two exhibit halls on either side of the main registration area. There are over 1,100 booths where you can try out the latest products the music industry has to offer, go to a café for refreshments, get a chair massage, and much more. Remember to pick up a family badge to gain access to the halls. All-State Student Housing TMEA arranges housing for All-State students through requests from the students’ directors. TMEA notifies the students’ directors of housing assignments. Parent Housing Parents make their own housing arrangements. You may find that using an online reservation system (e.g., Orbitz, Travelocity, etc.) is the most convenient and affordable way to reserve housing. Parking Free parking with shuttle service is available Thursday-Saturday in Lot C of the Alamodome. Go to the convention website for more details and directions to that lot. The website also includes other downtown parking information.

Performance Recording Sales All-State concerts are recorded and available on CD and DVD. After convention, go to www.MarkCustom.com to order CDs and DVDs the performances.
