The Australian Fodder Industry Association

(AFIA) is the peak body for the Australian

fodder industry, covering all sectors of the

supply chain from the paddock to the end

user. Since AFIA was established in 1996

our network has helped the fodder industry

to grow through sharing information,

assisting trade, and promoting research

and development. We also work closely

with government regulators to ensure our

members have a favourable environment to

do business in.

Each year AFIA hosts the National Fodder

Conference, attracting over 250 industry

stakeholders from around Australia. The

2014 National Fodder Conference will

be held on 5 – 6 August, at the Adelaide

Convention Centre, South Australia.

This brochure details some of the

opportunities for you to be involved in at the

2014 National Fodder Conference.

The 2014 National Fodder ConferenceThis Conference is AFIA’s chance to showcase the Australian fodder industry and bring together the key individuals and businesses that make up this industry. If your customers are involved in the fodder industry you won’t be disappointed in this unique single industry focussed event.

The program for this two day event has a focus on quality Australian and International speakers and also encourages plenty of delegate interaction with exhibitors and sponsors. Our social functions, the Welcome Cocktail Function and the Annual Conference Dinner are great ways to mingle with your clients in a relaxed environment.

The conference offers trade and machinery display facilities where you can showcase your company. To ensure the best exposure to delegates meals are served in this trade display area, during the plenary session breaks.

Where is the National Fodder Conference?Situated on the banks of the river Torrens in Adelaide’s picturesque city centre, the Adelaide Convention Centre offers world class facilities and excellent service. As the location for the 2014 National Fodder Conference you will be assured that everything you need is at your fingertips, giving you more time to focus on catching up with clients and forming new industry relationships.

“The networking is great. I really look forward to catching up with people and also meeting new fodder industry people at the National Fodder Conference” – 2013 National Fodder Conference Delegate

Who will be there? The delegates at the National Fodder Conference are dedicated to the fodder industry, and accordingly are an ideal audience to market your company’s products and services. It’s also the ideal platform to launch new products and technologies direct to a captive audience of fodder industry professionals.

Past conferences have seen attendances remain consistent at 200 – 250 delegates. Attendees are involved in the fodder industry all over Australia and include:

• Hay & Silage Growers & Contractors

• Hay Exporters

• Domestic fodder traders

• Fodder transporters

• End Users (dairy and beef)

• Researchers

Why become a Sponsor? The National Fodder Conference has a range of sponsorship packages to suit your needs as well as the opportunity to purchase a trade display. If your organisation has a focus in the Australian fodder industry and you would like to:

• Take advantage of our media and communications campaign in the lead up to the event.

• Sponsor a component of the National Fodder Conference and you will increase your exposure in the lead up to the conference and/or throughout the event.

• Host a trade display and your booth will be situated in the same space that all meals are served during plenary breaks.
