(AMZN), Hulu and cable TV, Netflix was the leading service by 13 percentage points over second place Amazon, says Kim. In a separate survey of almost 600 people, Piper found that the majority of Netflix subscribers would absorb a price increase, with a weighted average price increase of $2.20 month, Kim notes. The analyst adds that while the price is down from $2.40 for a similar survey in February, a higher percentage of respondents overall would accept an increase. Kim continues to believe Netflix is well positioned to "capture an outsized share of traditional content consumption dollars" and reiterates an Overweight rating on the shares with a $534 price target.
