This class will excite and inform you, while increasing your understanding of history.Suggested Readings: Histories of The Hanged: The Dirty War in Kenya and the End of Empire by David Anton Anderson; Ornamentalism: How the British Saw Their Empire by David Cannadine; The Cambridge Illustrated History of the British Empire by P.J. What’s for Dinner? u

Raquel Rivera-Pablo B.A., Institute of Culinary Education-Certificate of Culinary Arts, Chef Instructor at Rustico Cooking in NYC, one of many chefs honored to help launch First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Chefs Move to Schools” program, a part of the “Let’s Move!” campaign to end the epidemic of childhood obesity

Making dinner can be chaotic, whether you have a house full of kids, or just trying to make dinner for one. Are you too tired to cook or just don’t seem to have the time? Maybe you lack the cooking skills & would be interested in cooking almost like a Pro! Doing so will help save time, money (not to men-tion calories!) and you will have dinner on the table in no time! Add a few quick dinner menus to your repertoire and basic culinary techniques like knife skills, sauteeing, roasting and grilling to prepare meals that are quick, easy and delicious. Cooking should fit your life-style and not be drudgery! This course is for men & women who are willing to push up their sleeves and start chop-ping away! Enrollment is limited.PSX-313 ZA Sun, 4 sessions: March 6-27 @ 11:30am-2pm
