5 Minute Halloween Garland

This garland combines my two favorite things, DIY and Halloween decorations. This is the time we have been waiting for all year long, the holidays! What better way to start the month off than with this enjoyable and easy DIY decoration. This funtivity is so simple that there is no way it can result in a Pinterest fail. It requires a small amount of effort that results in a cute and subtle decorative piece that can transform any space!

Here’s what you need: washing tapes (Halloween Masking Tape, Holy Night Fabric Tape Set) papers scissors string (any kind, i.e.  stretchy, transparent)

Follow these simple steps

1. Get every Halloween themed paper you can find. I would recommend stopping by any craft store and checking out the scrapbook paper section. They usually have a pretty big variety of holiday themed paper.

2. The length is up to you. Cut your Halloween decorated construction paper into triangle shapes. Cut different shape triangles, keep it consistent or create a pattern, whatever suits your fancy.

3. Cover papers with masking tapes.

4. Hide the tape to the back of paper

5. Connect the paper to string, we simply taped a string to the back of paper or you can use a needle to poke two holes one on the left, on the right and connect all of papers.

6. All done! Go show it off to the world!

I don’t know about you guys, but I have been struggling with figuring out how to bring life to my office desk. My plant won’t stay alive, and I can only collect so many sticky note pads from the office supply closet. The holidays solve this issue because you can literally decorate your space with anything Halloween related to completely transform your desk. The more it looks like Halloween threw up on your desk, the better! Hang this DIY garland under your computer or on your desk. Here are some more fun places to put your garland to spice up your life and get ready for the holiday season to come.

How to properly prepare for fall: drink a pumpkin spice latte, jump in a pile of leaves, and make this super quick and easy garland. Happy DIYing!
