5 Dreams

1. Matthew 1:20 – But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

2. Matthew 2:12 – And having been warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, the magi left for their own country by another way.

3. Matthew 2:13 – Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him."

4. Matthew 2:20-21 – But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, and said, 20 "Get up, take the Child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel; for those who sought the Child's life are dead."

5. Matthew 2:22b – Then after being warned by God in a dream, he left for the regions of Galilee.

Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. 18 In those days I will pour out My Spirit even on My servants—men and women alike—and they will prophesy.

Dream Guidelines1. Not all dreams are from God. 2. Don’t focus on your dreams too much.3. Before You go to bed, pray Samuel’s Prayer.1 Samuel 3:9-10 – So [Eli] said to Samuel, "Go and lie down again, and if someone calls again, say, 'Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.'" So Samuel went back to bed. 10 And the Lord came and called as before, "Samuel! Samuel!" And Samuel replied, "Speak, your servant is listening."

4. The message from your dream must be in total agreement to the Word of God.

5. Ask for God’s timing to share your dream with others.

6. Share with a mature believer for confirmation.
