    34200-14K is the part number for the line to lube pressure regulator valve. Thiswas designed for the complaint you describe. ( Sonnax volume 8, page 84) This engine RPM fluctuation can also occur in Drive range at idle. What is occurring?Insufficient converter clutch release oil flow. As line pressure increases, converter release is reduced by the valve moving inboard. Generally, if you raise the RPM's slightly this condition is overcome. To diagnose: Use SonnaFlow and check cooler flow at idle. Flow will fluctuate from .2 to .5 gpm. In the initial stages when these trucks were under warranty GM was replacing the radiators and reprogramming to increase idle speed.
