- Teams of two- One player from each team goes head to head at center

stage- Teacher asks a question and the first competitor to raise

their hand the question is given too - If student has trouble answering question, their team is

allowed to support. - This allows students to think critically and effectively

Overview Continued

- These forms of learning prepares the student for a midterm or final - By first researching the information through the study guide, students

will already have understanding of the material before the contest. - Once the contest starts, the information will appear once more. This

allows the material to strengthen inside the brain of a student. - Finally, once the exam takes place they will see the material for at

least a third time. This should allow the student to be very confident with their knowledge.

How It Benefits Universal Design

- This strategy of learning is to make sure everyone in the classroom successfully learns the material.

- It introduces flexibility with the study guide and the contest. A student has the ability to learn through the internet and also through a classroom setting.

- In the classroom, a student is able to demonstrate their learning through competitive one on one action or through teamwork. Either way, the student gains confidence in his learning ability. It could be through communication with peers or critical independent thinking.
