My RAP poster purpose is to entertain my audience by putting famous RAP artists on it. To achieve this I will need to find out what my audience likes, for example what colours they like, what RAP artist they like the most, and also what information they would like to see on the RAP poster for example prizes or New albums or tours.Genre:What sort of product is it ?

My RAP poster will include information about tours RAP artists that will be attending and it will include prizes and also up to date albums. The reason why I’m including these features to grab my audience’s attention by putting the famous RAP artists on the RAP poster, also putting a old rap artist on my poster (Eminem) will grab people’s attention because Eminem was and still famous.

My target audience is towards teenagers from 16-19yrs old, this is because of the results on my survey. Also I chose this age range just because that audience listens to RAP music than any other age range, this is good because my poster will attract them due to their interest of the same music. My target for gender is male, this is because of the results on my survey. Also I chose male instead female because I’m male and know what colours men like but don’t know what colours women like, for example men like black, red, white and dark blue. For social status for my product will target to all people because these days posters do not cost a lot of money, for example £5-£15. I’m making a RAP poster on purpose because its not expensive and can be bought by anyone, also because I don’t want to set a boundary because its not fair to people who don’t have a lot of money. The psychographic for my product targets towards belongers, the reason why I chose this type of psychographic is because they will respond to messages in the community and my RAP poster message is to enjoy the atmosphere and be positive, also with this type of psychographic it will grab people’s attention and could lead to purchasing the RAP poster.Legal & Ethical Considerations:

Think about any offensive material you will include?There will be no offensive material on my RAP poster because it will only have pictures and information about prizes and album covers.Will you restrict younger people buying it?No because there is no offensive material and weapons included in it.Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?No it will not offend any ethnicities or social groups or religions because my RAP poster will not have any information or features on it.How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?By not including any information about social groups and ethnicities and also religion.

Proposal

Is your game using characters/names/logos of existing games/IPs?I will be using a RAP artist called Eminem on my poster to get my audiences attention, but to do this I will need to ask permission from the artist.Will your poster be sufficiently different from existing RAP posters to not get sued for copyright infringement?Yes my rap poster will be totally different to existing rap posters because I’m putting pictures of Eminem inside writing and will make the writing style to fit with the type of the music (RAP).
