This profi lometer reading shows the surface profi le—or the roughness of the surface. When differences between peaks and valleys are extreme, the results are commonly referred to as wild scratches and can be seen by the naked eye. The SandBlaster Flexible Finishing Pad has signifi cantly less extreme peaks

and valleys therefore a much smoother surface. That translates into a visibly fi ner fi nish.
