Welcome to Field Trip Notebooking Pages! Inside this package, you will find all the pages

necessary to make beautiful keepsakes of your educational outings.

Setting up your Field Trip Notebook

1. To hold your pages, you will need either a 3-ring binder or a pocket folder with fasteners.

2. Sheet protectors are highly recommended. Three types are useful:Semi-clear, economy weight for the notebooking pages

Secure-top pages for travel brochures, maps, etc.

Photo pages for pictures and postcards

3. Print out the notebooking pages related to your trip:

Field Trip Log

Specific Destination

4. The Field Trip Log can be filled out before the trip by:

Collecting information about your destination from brochures or the internet

Locating your destination on a map

Researching the history of the destination

Studying related topics from the Bible

Writing a list of questions to ask on the field trip

Attaching a map or photo to the bottom of the page

5. After your trip, have your children record their memories on the Specific Destination page.

They may also add photographs, postcards, maps, souvenirs, etc. to the blank section.

(Optional: Add the related page from our Occupations Notebooking Pages set, i.e.,

Firefighter for a field trip to the Fire Station)

6. Remember to log your hours. Visiting the destination itself should be logged under the

appropriate school subject (i.e., a trip to the Art Museum can be logged as Art or History)

and recording information on the notebooking pages covers many different aspects of

Language Arts.

Our family has been notebooking our field trips for the past several years, and it is a joy to look

back at the wonderful memories our children have made. We hope that your family will enjoy

field trip notebooking as much as we do!
