33 tools to help you maximize your Pinterest results

I strive to keep things simple. Using too many can be overwhelming and nauseating for me. So for me if Ican find a tool that I can schedule my pins that also includes analytics at the most affordable price thenthat’s what I look for. I’m also not a fan of analytics that will give me everything under the sun. I only what touse metrics that I know matter.

So I have two favorites that I use at this time:

1) I use ViralTag to schedule my pins2) I use Tailwind for analytics

At this time I am literally experimenting with Viraltag’s analytics. I am hoping that their analytics will be just asgood if not better than Tailwind so I can just use one tool.

About this document:

There have been some players that have not survived such as Pinreach and several others have changedtheir business names and business models. I must say that as I go through these websites I really neededto drill into them to try and figure out what their services were exactly because it isn’t obvious.

This list isn’t just about analytics or scheduling tools, what I found this time is very interesting; a few of thesecompanies are offering a pay for performance model marketing system focusing on social media platforms.

What that means is that brands only pay for click throughs, cost per follower, repins, social actions and soforth. What this also tells me is that businesses more and more are looking for ways to pay only when theyget a concrete social action or result. The key is to decide what metrics you need to be measuring and findthe tool that best works for your brand.

The other thing I found interesting is how pinners and influential bloggers are getting paid to pin on behalf ofbrands! So if you have a ton of followers on Pinterest you could definitely be saying “caa­ching” if you getinvolved!
