What Are The

Marks of the

True Church?

What do we mean by the marks of the

Church? By the marks of the Church we mean

certain clear signs by which all men can

recognize it as the true Church founded by Jesus

Christ.

What are the chief marks of the Church? The

chief marks of the Church are four: It is one,

holy, catholic (or universal), and apostolic.

Our reading from the Acts of the Apostles today

shows us how the early church learned to listen to the

Holy Spirit and work together to bring about peace of

mind to the members of the community. As we hear

God’s holy word today, let us listen for what God is

telling us about how to be messengers of peace and

unity within the Church and beyond.

"Lord Jesus, in love you created me

and you drew me to yourself. May I

never lose sight of you nor forget

your steadfast love and faithfulness.

And may I daily dwell upon your

word and give you praise in the sanctuary of my heart,

You who are my All."

We are gearing up now for

our Summer Vacation

Bible School Program. The dates are June 6-10

2016.

More information

is coming soon.

Our Parish Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary in

conjunction with Most Pure Heart of Mary School will
