3 rd Grade Homework MENU September Using index cards or paper, create a set of multiplication “flash cards” that we can use in our Math Facts center. Make sure to include the answers on the back! Make a matching game or sorting game using observations and inferences. For example matching - the car is wet (observation), it must have rained (inference) would go together. Or you can do the same two and sort which one is an observation and which is an inference. Design a t-shirt for a book that you feel other students would enjoy. Include a 4 - step sequence of events from the story. Expect to display the t-shirt and book for a week. (Doesn’t have to be a real t-shirt) Develop a quiz that focuses on distinguishing complete sentences from incomplete sentences. The format is up to you (multiple choice, use editing marks on prepared sentences, etc.). Other students may get to take your quiz.
