3rd Quarter Enotek HSSE

Committee Meeting was held on

4 September 2018. This meeting

are one of compliance from

management to OSHA 1994

Section 30 and 31, Establishment

of Safety and Health committee

at place of work and functions of

safety and health committee. The

main purpose of the committee

meeting are to highlight all issue

related to HSSE and act as

representative of employer and

employee of the company in

contribute idea, discuss and

solve any HSSE issue that may

cause harm to frontlines, staff,

visitor and public.

NEWSFLASH LFI NEIGHBOURING FALLING OBJECTAs one of preventive method to

ensure incident that happen at

Shell Retail Mexico will never

happen again, LFI sharing has

been conducted to deliver the

information and root cause of

the incident to the frontines and

staff. This topic sharing are

related to falling object from

neighbouring construction, fell

down to Shell retails site at

Mexico which is resulting one

L3 contractor get a visible

wounds cause of “chisel” struck

the head of the contractor.

From this incident, awareness

and initiatives from Enotek to

ensure all site team aware and

work safely in safe working

environment.

Due to incident happen at Shell

retail India, which is relate to

neighboring wall collapse to

resulting to one LTI (lower leg

fracture) and 2 restricted work

case RWC resulting from sprain

in knee and hip. In conjunction

to create a preventive culture

among frontlines and staff,

Enotek management level has

boost up their initiatives and

awareness to deliver all of the

information and deeply brief the

root cause of the incident as

learning from incident sessions.

This session has being

conducted by HSSE personnel

and Site Engineer at Enotek

HQ office and site work based.

AUTHORISED ENTRANT AND STANDBY PERSON

REFRESHER TRAINING - NIOSHThe propose of the training is to

entitle a person to enter the confined

space and to be a standby person

according to Industrial Code of

Practice (ICOP 2010). This training

also provides a knowledge,

information, and necessary skills

about safe work system for working

inside confined space. So as the

refresher training required to be

attend every 2 years regarding the

scope of work are highly risk and

having big potential of

accident/fatality to happen. Frequent

case reported accident in confined

space usually resulting a fatality

case and a catastrophic (sequentialdeath).

On 28th September 2018,

Safety Awareness Program

for month September has

been conducted at Enotek

HQ training room in

delivering information and

awareness of static

electricity to all staff and

frontliners. On this program,

all staff and frontliners has

been briefed in details by

HSSE personnel how static

electricity are occur and

what are the consequences

of the static electricity when

personnel exposed to

flammable material

especially when handling or

conduct fueling activity at

petrol station. Lately, a lot of accident

are occurred at petrol station relate to

static electricity which is resulting a fire

that shown up or viral in social media.

REWARD AND RECOGNITION PROGRAM SEPTEMBER 2O18

In order to motivate and encourage frontlines to improve

knowledge related to safety and health at work place, reward and

recognition program for best frontlines was carried out by Enotek

HSSE Team. This TNT session are conducted to evaluate site

personnel or frontlines on their knowledge towards HSSE

requirements.
