BEFORE USE: ** For shipping purposes the mechanism containing the wire stripping wheels has been secured to prevent damaging the cutting wheels. Before operating loosen the 4 set screws pictured below (2 on each side of the machine). To do so, remove yellow safety guards on both sides of the machine to locate these screws. If these set screws are not loosened, the cutting wheels will cut to deep and larger wire will get jammed.

(2) T- Screws with nuts, (2) T-Screws without nuts, (4) Large Tension Springs, (4) Small Tension Springs, (4) Spring Caps, (5) Straight Blades, (1) Allen Wrench, (1) Screw Driver & (1) Wrench

Functionality:

● Automatic Wire Stripping Machine Strips Copper and Aluminum Wire at 125 Ft per Minute● Strips 34 AWG - 1 1/2” Wire (1.5mm-40mm ) or 34 gauge Telephone Wire to 750 MCM Industrial Wire● Adjustable Spring Loaded Cutter/Feed Rollers Easily cuts different size wires● Can cut 2 different sized wires at once● Industrial Quality Belt, Gear and Chain Drive System● Quiet Induction Motor: 110V 60Hz 3 hp motor 10 Amps● Dimensions: 23” x 27” x 34” (L x W x H)● 30 Amp Circuit Breaker and 15 amp on/off Switch for Superior Motor Protection● Easy to use on off switch mounted to the outside of the frame● Grounded Power cord made with Double Insulated 12 Gauge Wire● Weight: 280 lbs

Assembly Instructions:

1. Screw the T-Screws with nuts into the top guard: A. (Looking at the machine from the viewpoint of where the operator feeds the wire) The holes for Step 1 are located on the top right & top left corners closest to the operator.2. Screw the T-Screws without nuts into the top guard: A. Use the remaining two holes on the top guard (These holes will be the farthest holes from the operator on the right and left sides).3. Place the Small Tension Spring into Large Tension Spring4. Place the Spring Cap upside onto Large Tension Spring with the indented side UP. 5. Repeat steps 3-4 for the remaining springs.6. Place Spring Assemblies under the T-screws. A. The T-Screws will screw into the indented side of the Spring Caps. 7. Using the Allen Wrench- Loosen the Allen Bolts (located on the far left side of the machine where you feed the wire).8. Insert Straight blades with the pointed side UP and the slope of the blade sloping down and toward the operator. (For example, the sharp edge of the blade will being facing straight up when it is inserted into the machine) A. The depth of which the operator inserts the Straight Blade will depend upon the thickness of the wire.

Changing the Blade:

1. Disassemble the Top Guard by removing the bolts on all sides of the T-Screws. 2. Remove the Top Guard.3. Remove the MasterLink on the chain.4. Remove the entire axel from the machine (be sure not to cut your fingers on the cutting blades)5. Once the axel is on a flat surface, use a gear or bearing puller to remove the square block and bearing. 6. Using a punch and hammer, loosen the spanner nut and remove it from the axel.7. Once the spanner nut has been removed, begin taking off the spacers and the cutting wheels. A. Be sure to keep track of where the spacers go for re-assembly. 8. Replace the necessary cutting wheels and begin to re-assemble.9. Once the spacers and cutting wheels are back in place, put the spanner nut back on the axel and tighten.10. Using a soft mallet or press, place the bearing a square block back on the axel.11. Place the axel back in to the machine.12. Re-engage the chain along with the MasterLink.13. Fasten the Top Guard back in to place.

Operation Instructions:

● This machine should be plugged into at least a 20 amp breaker. ● If possible It should be plugged in WITHOUT an extension cord. ● There are 5 separate Blades that come with the machine, these blades are to be inserted into the five left slots on the back of the machine. After inserting the blade to the correct depth it can be tightened down with an allen wrench. ● The Left 5 holes are meant for dual shielded wire (This is wire with several shielded wires inside of it.) ● Once a dual shielded wire is ran through one of these left slots, take the insulation off and then run each individual wire through the correct size on the right. NOTE: If dual shielded wire is ran through the right holes the inner wire will just be cut into pieces.● Best practices to know if you are running the machine correctly is to run a short piece of wire first. If the cutter wheels are cutting deeply into the copper the top rollers need to be adjusted up. ● You do not want the wheels cutting deeply into the wire, in turn they will become dull quickly.● Each cutter wheel is interchangeable with another, they are all the same size and can be sharpened on their own or replacement wheels can be purchased. ● With so many different types of wire, different insulation, different gauges its best to use trial and error when running this machine at first. Running similar size wire together usually seems to work best. This cuts down on readjusting the top rollers.
