CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
• Describe and discuss current research on interventions to improve walking and balance and prevent falls in people with MS
• Describe and discuss current research on interventions to improve walking and balance and prevent falls in other populations that may also be eff ective in people with MS
• Discuss the application of interventions to improve walking and balance and prevent falls in people with MS within the context of specifi c patient cases.
WHO SHOULD AT TEND
Physicians (Neurologists, Physiatrists), physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation scientists, nurses, and physician assistants working in the area of multiple sclerosis clinical practice or research.
This conference focuses on current and novel interventions aimed at improving gait and balance and
preventing falls in people with multiple sclerosis. The discussion will focus on current evidence from
studies in people with MS and other populations with similar mobility challenges.
